Pierre Ferrand "1840 Original Formula" Cognac

Ferrand's 1840 Original Formula was inspired by the cognacs used in 19th century cocktails.  Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel enlisted the help of cocktail historian David Wondrich to create a richer, livelier, and higher proof cognac to stand up to mixing and diluting.  The nose presents beautiful aromas of white flowers, orange, peach and honey. A full-bodied palate offers notes of bitter orange peel, stone fruit flavors, and lingering vanilla and oak. Bottled at 90 proof.
